there's not much i can say about maria's talent and ability to inspire that hasn't already been said by many of us. but it would be impossible to get through a week of art+handmade in my home without dedicating a day to this amazing woman.

i have bits made by maria all over the house, but this little spot is my favorite. welcome to my little studio office! i found this to be the perfect space to hang both years of maria's calendar, with plenty of room for the third (fingers crossed she does one!) i can see them up close everyday, and love to see what similarities or differences there are between the two each month. these little bits or gorgeousness warm my heart. and these two house images in particular mean so much.

i really could go on and on about all maria means to me, but i suppose it would be better left to a private note written sitting right here...
