Introducing Hello. Handmade!

Well friends, today is a big day for me! Betsy and I are so excited to share our new adventure with you, our new little paperie!

Though in miles we are far apart, and have never met, our similar take on beauty and handmade gather us together in a way that, we think, seems perfectly meant to be! We are so happy to share our collaboration with you! Hello Handmade will feature Betsy's gorgeous calligraphy with my illustrations on all sorts of paper goods!

To start, we are offering the 2009 calendar I have mentioned here many times, a cozy winter-time print, as well as a vintage surprise! Very shortly we'll also be offering some sweet little gift tags, and a holiday card.  Go have a peek!

It has been such a joyful experience to work with Betsy, who is not only tremendously talented but is also one of the sweetest people I've ever been lucky enough to meet. I can't wait for our next project!

One last thing...this post wouldn't be complete without expressing my heartfelt gratitude to my friend Rachael. You know those gem-of-a-friend-types you meet only rarely? The kind of friend who not only selflessly, and happily shows you the ropes of a new skill,  but takes you to a town an hour away, late at night, without complaint simply because the screens burn better there...That's Rachael. She's Awesome.
