even though it's officially summer, and the sun is out, i've really been loving hanging out at home. it could be because the busy months of april and may allowed for very little time to keep house, pick flowers from the garden, hang new art - all the little things that make a house feel like a home. i feel like the tail end of june is a good time to do a bit of nesting. when july arrives i'll be ready for a bit of camping, kayaking with friends, croquet, and fireworks!

this week i'd like to share some favorite bits of art and handmade i've gathered from others...the pieces that make me smile everyday. the beautiful carrot above is a little treasure i picked up at renegade. it's made by the ever so sweet sian keegan. i've been a fan of hers for such a long time, it was nice to finally be able to say hello in person! sian's stuffed dog portraits are delightful, beyond delightful, really. i'm dreaming of and wishing for an ollie dog of my own!
