my insecurities can get the best of me at times, as with us all.
i find it perfectly ironic that the message on one of the smocks i sent to small was a message about believing. believing anything is possible. i only got up the courage to submit my designs to the editors for possible submission after jen expressed an interest in using something of mine in a story she was doing for them. i decided to ride the surge of confidence i was feeling right into the motion of attaching photos, typing an email and pressing send. done. all before the feeling wore off. thank you, jen.
i am over the moon, to say the least. and i've tucked this little lesson not too far away. i'll try to remember next time i am feeling uncertain. maybe now i won't take two years to take a crack at the tough stuff.
know forever that you hold within your heart the ability to act your deepest wishes into life. yes.
truly, i think we all need to be reminded of this once in a while, big and small. my apologies for such a sappy post, friends. what can i say, i'm feelin' it.
make a wish!
