Hi there, pals.

I hope you had a super weekend. Just a quick little post from me this morning with a couple bits of news, then I'm off to tackle my to-do list (it's getting shorter, yay!), as this week's a busy one - for all of us, right?

1. I'll list the holiday cards this afternoon at 4pm eastern in my shop. There will be a mixture of boxed sets and singles, but very little of each, for pre-order. Pre-orders will be taken today through November 26th and will all ship December 1st.

I may list another round of pre-orders on December 3rd, that would ship December 8th, but that's yet to be determined. I'll keep you posted!

2. There's a little feature on Hello Handmade Paperie in the latest issue of Rue Magazine, which came out today (the top two photos of this post are a couple of outtakes from the shoot). We have a free holiday download for you on page 60! So fun. Thanks, Anne, for including us! There are some really great home tours in this issue, can't wait to take a closer look!

3. Anyone have a favorite stuffing recipe they'd like to share? I'm in the mood for something new this year and would love to hear your suggestions!

Hello, there! 

Lots of bustling preparation and stacked boxes, knocks on the door by the UPS man, cozy little assembly lines, heart to hearts with Ollie (and C, too), and smiles all around at our little cottage outside of the city. Holiday prep is in full swing around here. I wanted to share a little peek at what I've been working on: a small introduction to my new stationery line!

On Monday I'll launch a small but sweet collection of holiday cards for pre-order in my shop (they'll ship December 1st). The full line will launch early this spring. Hooray! This is one of those projects that just makes me happy all around. I love the entire process of pulling these little boxes of cards together. I hope you'll love them, too!

Second Storie is just around the corner (I'll have the holiday stationery there, too), and the anticipation of visiting with dear friends, and meeting a new but very dear friend is making me giddy. If you're in town, I hope you'll stop by and say hello. I'd love to say hi to you, too!

As the first week home after Little Winter draws to a close, on my mind most are all of the wonderful people I got to meet, friends I was so happy to visit with (new and old), and those of you lovely readers who stopped to say hello (I'm so glad you did). I have some pretty special memories to draw on when I need a smile. 

It was terrific to have some great dinners and laughs with my dear friends Mackenzie and Abby, and Abby's beautiful sister Lindee. Sharing a behind-the-tables lane with Alice was a totally delightful surprise. Meeting Lisa, when I went to pick up our new project was a dream come true. I'm so looking forward to all that's to come for us. You all made my weekend. Hugs to you!

Getting to finally meet so many long time blog friends was total magic. There's no other way to put it. I think I could write a post on these meetings alone. I'm so inspired by the amount of talent, kindness, and magic that flooded that beautiful space. It carries me on a cloud of awesome, even still.

Here it is! A little dream of mine come true!

Collaborating with Lisa from Pigeon Toe Ceramics has been a complete delight. Yesterday, when I finally had a chance to read the words Lisa posted about our collaborative collection it made me so happy I had to get up from my desk and jump up and down a little. Ollie joined in and soon we had a little impromptu, happy dance party happening. Thank you for your kind words Lisa!

We've had such a great response so far! It fills me with joy to know that they are loved, because I love these sweet tumblers so much. Thanks to all of you who scooped up every last bit of my stock for Little Winter in the first two hours of the show - I was stunned. Still am. I have a few I've reserved for Second Storie at the end of the month, so if you're wanting one and you're local you'll be in luck. Lisa has nearly sold out of them too, though she has listed a few of each for pre-order (these will ship in 1-2 weeks).

This won't be the end of  SM+PTC. We've enjoyed working together so much and have had such a great response we're happily exploring the possibilities of a long term partnership. Hooray! I'm sure Ollie and I will be back on our little desk-side dance floor before long.

A bit of shop keeping: I had originally planned to list this new collaboration and my new holiday cards in my shop today. Instead, I'll be launching/listing my new holiday cards on Wednesday,  November 17th. If there are any tumblers left after Second Storie, I'll list them on Monday, November 29th.

What a magical weekend it has been. Little Winter was a dream - a happy, bustling, inspiring dream. I can't wait to share more once I'm home and settled, including my new collaboration with Lisa from Pigeon Toe Ceramics! Every last minute of these past four days has been complete perfection. More than anything, it was just such a complete honor to be a part of  such an inspired event and to have the opportunity to meet some of  loveliest people I've come across in a long time.

Good morning!

Another calendar for you today, this time of the desktop variety. Collaborating on these little monthly calendars has been a highlight of my year. Such a great way to work on something with those I admire and appreciate, without too much fuss. They've been a real joy to create!

This month is no exception. When Jen Causey's photos landed in my inbox I did a little mental jump for joy! I was giddy over the thought of collaborating with Jen, whose photographs I adore. Her table top still lives are, to me,  things of great beauty. I  have often wished Jen would start a desktop calendar series of her own, just so I could keep an image of hers up on my desktop all the time! Such thoughtful, graceful photographs, I often swoon when I visit her blogs simply photo and simply breakfast. I've been visiting her lovely blogs for years. They are a constant in my week, and a continual source of inspiration and happiness. Thanks so much, Jen, for joining me!

Here it is, friends!

This time, just one week ago, Betsy and I sat in our little cottage retreat inspired by the previous day. We had spent our Sunday together ambling through my little stack of Mary Oliver's books, in search of the perfect lines for our project. We read to each other our favorites, made lists of them, went for a stroll, talked about the beauty of Oliver's words - how she so gracefully captures all that lives in a swelling heart when it walks through the world. It was a perfect day.

By Sunday's end we had our four excerpts. Four excerpts that beautifully explain how we feel about each season. Our remaining days together were equally magic. I'm so grateful for the time we shared. It's happens so rarely, two friends together for a concentrated stretch of time, uninterrupted. Such a gift. We hope we've passed a little of that on to you with our calendar. We hope it reminds you to breathe deep and head out doors, see everything, and be glad for it.

Because we wanted to create something extra special this year, each one is an original. Betsy has penned each and every season with jet black gouache, no two will be exactly the same. We've laid out the seasons so, when the bottom two inches are trimmed away, an original 5x7 remains. We love the thought of these quiet, and thoughtful celebrations being kept long after the year has past. We can't wait to hang ours!

Each calendar is enclosed in a gorgeous kraft envelope and sealed with black wax. Betsy has written out "two thousand eleven" on each and every one. Below Betsy's hand-penned year sits a little description:
