Loving the moody, grainy goodness of  this photo taken by Samantha, discovered a while back in her Flickr stream. I'm a big fan of  installing the decals on glass, there's something wonderful about the way the light brings them to life a little bit. You can find the welcome decal here, if you'd like.

giveaway goodness

 

 

I mentioned a few weeks back that I'll be giving a workshop at Feliz in Austin on November 3rd, something I've been super excited about! If you're gong to be in or around Austin the first weekend of Novermber, there's a pretty great giveaway going on over at Design Sponge right now! Spaces in five different workshops are being given away, including a spot in mine!

There's also a giveaway for some lovely things from makers who will be at Feliz, in case you won't be in the area and are feeling sad about it. Don't wait too long to enter, though, you only have through Friday the 19th, at midnight, EST to enter both giveaways!

If you missed the post on my workshop, I'll be helping folks create a beautiful, framed keepsake using decals, hand lettering and a special memento or photo from each participant. won't be long now

In just a few days I get to flip these over and share them with you, which, I have to tell you, makes me feel like jumping up and down! But more on this later. It won't be long now, just waiting for the go-ahead from these lovely folks.

In other news, I was invited to participate over at Habit again this moth and I am ashamed to realize that not only is this the first I've mentioned it, but today is also my first day posting there. Half the month gone and nothing to say for myself. What I can say is this, it has been one jam-packed year around here, but I'm determined to make up for lost time. Mark my words!

I've a fair bit of news and new projects to bring you up to date on as well. It's been working hermit mode over here for too long now, even for my taste. Regular old rambly posts about life and whatnot have also been sadly lacking around here for at least a year, I'm sure. Pitiful! Must do something about this. So, see you here tomorrow? I hope so.
